Gasoline in Türkiye has risen in price by 20%

July 17, Fineko/abc.az. On the night of July 16, the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel in Türkiye increased by 20%, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press.

On July 16, a liter of gasoline at gas stations cost 28.05 lira, or about $1.07, and diesel fuel — 26.31 lira (about $1.01). After the publication of the decision to raise fuel prices in government magazine Resmi Gazete, prices for a liter of gasoline and diesel fuel rose to 34.08 lira, or $1.30, and to 32.04 lira, or $1.22, respectively.

Experts attribute this to an increase in VAT at the beginning of the month.
