July 14, Fineko/abc.az. New service Wallet Pay has appeared in Telegram. It allows accepting payments in various types of cryptocurrency in the messenger.
ABC.AZ reports with a link to portal Cointelegraph that Wallet Pay works with Bitcoins, Tonkin and Tether USB.
WalletPay operates in most countries of the world, including those regions where payment for goods and services with cryptocurrency is prohibited at the legislative level. This list includes Russia, Indonesia, Vietnam and not only. The developers of WalletPay believe the decision to use the service in such countries should be made by enterprises themselves.
At that, the new payment service is not available in the U.S. and countries that are blacklisted by the Task Force on Combating Money Laundering. Such countries include Iran, Myanmar and North Korea.
The WalletPay reps stated they have already received several hundred applications for connection to the payment system.
