July 12, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have examined progress of landscaping, renovation and construction works at the Central Botanical Garden in Baku, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Presidential Administration.

Head of the Baku City Executive Authority Eldar Azizov briefed the head of state and first lady on the ongoing renovation and construction works at the Central Botanical Garden.

The total area of the Central Botanical Garden was increased from 39 hectares to 44.8 hectares. Founded in 1934, the Garden has some 130 types of rare plants.

After examining the progress of renovation, President Ilham Aliyev gave respective instructions and recommendations.
