Customs Committee held a meeting

July 11, Fineko/abc.az. The State Customs Committee held a board meeting dedicated to the first half of 2023.

At the beginning of the event, a minute of silence was observed in memory of our heroes-martyrs.

ABC.AZ was informed at the SCC that a report on the activities of customs authorities for the past 6 months of this year, based on the comparative analysis with Jan-Jun 2022, was heard out. Information was also provided on the structural changes carried out in the customs service and on the work done to improve administration.

Speaking about the nature of recent improvements in the customs system, SCC chairman, Customs Service Lt-Gen Shahin Bagirov said that the main purpose of the changes is to build management and customs administration on a methodological basis. And this is important from angle of correctly defining and evaluating goals, strengthening interdepartmental ties, in a word, optimizing activities.
