July 11, Fineko/abc.az. Consumer prices in Germany, harmonized with EU standards, increased by 6.8% year-on-year in June.

ABC.AZ informs that according to the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), inflation accelerated against 6.3% a month earlier.

The final data coincided with preliminary assessment and expectations of experts interviewed by Trading Economics.

Compared with the previous month, consumer prices in Germany rose by 0.4% in June after a 0.2% decline in May.
