July 7, Fineko/abc.az. As for tourism, our countries consider this area a priority and a very important branch of the economy. From angle of development of cooperation and tourism, Azerbaijan's investments are desirable.

ABC.AZ reports that Albanian President Bajram Begaj stated about this in a press statement following the meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart.

“Albania is counting on the early abolition of the visa regime with Azerbaijan, which will contribute to development of tourism and cooperation between the two countries,” Begaj said.

The Albanian leader stressed that the abolition of the visa regime is another way to bring the Azerbaijani and Albanian peoples closer together.

"As I’ve already mentioned, it is President Ilham Aliyev who is putting his promises into practice, and today he told me that this will be resolved in the near future," Begaj said.

Begay added that the Azerbaijani-Albanian intergovernmental commission will hold a meeting in Baku in 2024.
