July 7, Fineko/abc.az. Shakhbulag limestone deposit, located on the territory of Aghdam district, has been put into operation.

ABC.AZ reports that Samir Idayatov, the chairman of board of the State Agency for the Use of Mineral Resources, said about this. He noted that the raw materials needed in connection with reconstruction and restoration work in the territories liberated from occupation are provided at the expense of mineral reserves located in these lands: "In 2021-2022, in order to build road infrastructure, construct airports and implement social projects, consent was given to the use of raw materials needed within 11 deposits of non-metallic minerals. In addition, this year Shakhbulag limestone deposit, located on the territory of Aghdam district, was put into operation."
