July 6, Fineko/abc.az. One of the main causes of shortage of medicines is instability in the international market.
ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Health Minister Rasim Ismayilov said about this at today's meeting of Milli Majlis extraordinary session during 2nd reading discussion of amendments to the Law on Medicines.
The deputy minister noted that sometimes manufacturers do not fully or partially fulfill their obligations: "In addition, one of the main factors is that the current regulatory legislation does not meet the requirements of the time. The stabilization that has occurred recently in this area has had positive effect on the work of local importers."
He noted that the regulation of drug prices by the Tariff Council is the best solution today.
