Azerbaijan's banknotes to be displayed at National Historical Museum

June 25, Fineko/abc.az. Paper and metal, including commemorative and investment banknotes issued by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), will be exhibited for the first time at the National Museum of History of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that a special place in the collection presented to the museum is occupied by a series of commemorative banknotes dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev. Also, for the first time, the museum will exhibit gold investment banknotes dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the great leader.

500 manat banknotes and ‘Victory’ commemorative banknotes devoted to the victory in the 44-day Patriotic War will be among the most valuable exhibits of the museum.
