June 23, Fineko/abc.az. An increase in the number of bank accounts of customers has been recorded in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that according to Central Bank’s report, the number of customer accounts reached 34.75 million accounts.

This means a year-on-year rise of 5.6 million accounts (19.3%, or 631,531 accounts, or by 1.9% on a monthly basis.

So, the number of customer bank accounts reached 29.127 million accounts for Jan-May 2022  and 34.12 million accounts over Jan-May 2023.
