June 23, Fineko/abc.az. As of May 31, 2023, 24 banks have a network of 483 branches, 86 branches and 3,003 cash machines.

ABC.AZ reports that compared with April 2023, the number of bank branches decreased by 10 and the number of bank sub-branches by 8, while the quantity of cash machines grew by 1.

In May, the reduction in the number of branches and sub-branches was linked with the banking sector in connection with the revocation of a license from one bank.
