Spending on clothes and shoes by population fell for Jan-May

June 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani population spent AZN 2.647 bn on purchase of textile goods, clothing and footwear in country’s retail outlets for Jan-May 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, this figure is 15% or AZN 346.2 million more against Jan-May 2022.

This May, the money spent on the purchase of textiles, clothing and shoes in retail outlets amounted to AZN 508.3 million.
