Sugar exports by Azerbaijan grew by 28.6%

June 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 18,581 tons of sugar for $13,340 for Jan-Apr 2023 (versus 14,448 tons for $9,275 for Jan-Apr 2022), ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Customs Committee.

 

Thus, sugar exports in value terms increased by 43.8% or by $4,065 and in quantitative terms by 28.6% or by 4,133 tons.

The average export price of a ton of sugar was $720 for Jan-May 2023 and $642 for Jan-May 2022. The export price of sugar grew by $76, or by 11.8%.
