Government to allocate €41 million for capital gains of merged bank

June 14, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, the Milli Majlis legislative government has agreed to increase the authorized capital of the joint bank - the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank.

ABC.AZ reports that this matter was discussed at parliament’s extraordinary session chaired by Sahiba Gafarova.

Gafarova said that this is a draft law on the approval of the "letter of commitment to subscribe to shares related to BSTDB capital gains".

She noted that in connection with the approval of the international document, this bill will be considered and adopted in the 1st reading on the basis of the requirements of the relevant Constitutional Law.

On April 22, 2022, Tair Mirkishili, the chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship, stated that "the letter of commitment to subscribe to shares related to BSTDB capital gains" was signed.
