June 12, Fineko/abc.az. From July 1, 2023, the sale of paper tickets will be discontinued on the Absheron Ring Railway.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to ADY that travel on trains on the corresponding route can be carried out using NFC-enabled banking applications or ADY travel cards.

ADY tickets can be purchased at the ticket offices of all stations operating on the Absheron Ring Route. The ADY travel card costs 2 manats.

In case of termination of the use of ADY travel cards, passengers can return the amount paid for the card and the balance on the card by handing over the cards to the ticket offices.

In addition, from July 1, 2023, in order to eliminate the passenger traffic observed in economy class cars of trains running on the Absheron Ring Railway, the use of a business class car as an economy class car will be ensured. In this case, the payment will be made on to the tariff for the economy class car.
