June 6, Fineko/abc.az. Veyseloglu Group of Companies has released its retail index for May 2023.
ABC.AZ reports that according to the latest data, the average cost of the most frequently sold items in the group's retail facilities for May 2023 was 10.3% higher against May 2022.
The cost of fresh (perishable) food compared with May 2022 increased by 11.7%.
The price of non-perishable, frozen and bulk products, as well as confectionery and soft drinks rose by 10.2%, tobacco products and alcoholic beverages by 6.8%, and hygiene and cleaning products by 13.6%.
