June 6, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is working over the concept of street food, ABC.AZ reports that Azada Huseynova, deputy chairman of the State Tourism Agency, said this at event "Prospects of Azerbaijan's Gastrotourism".

She added that it is mainly about the popularization of kutab.

"Street food is very popular in the world. In our country, doner and lahmajun belonging to Turkish cuisine are mainly known as Street food. However, we want to present our national dishes, and these are mainly varieties of kutaba. In addition, we want national kutab centers to function in friendly countries such as Türkiye and Israel. So far, we have carried out work in 14 different regions to promote the national cuisine in our country. The platform will be presented soon," Huseynova noted.
