May 22, Fineko/abc.az. Out of the 25 banks operating in Azerbaijan, five banks’ interest expenses exceeded AZN 15 million in the first quarter of this year.

ABC.AZ reports that among them are the International Bank of Azerbaijan (AZN 33.489 million), Kapital Bank (AZN 23.258 million), Bank Respublika (AZN 16.808 million), Access Bank (AZN 16.556 million) and Unibank (AZN 16.331 million).

In three of the remaining 20 banks, interest expenses range from AZN 10 to AZN 15 million, in 12 banks from AZN 1 million to AZN 10 million, and in five banks less than AZN 1 million.
