May 17, Fineko/abc.az. By CBA Board’s decision from May 16, 2023, the license of Günay Bank was canceled on May 17, 2023, and an appeal was filed to the court for liquidation of the bank through bankruptcy.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that the above-mentioned decision of the CBA Board appointed a temporary administrator of Günay Bank, all management powers of Günay Bank were transferred to the temporary administrator.

The deposits of 99.9% of the bank's depositors will be compensated.
