Russian companies were able to recover their frozen assets worth about $37.5 bn

May 16, Fineko/abc.az. Various scenarios related to Russia's frozen assets in Western countries are being evaluated.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to foreign media that Elvira Nabiullina, the head of the Bank of Russia, said this at NAUFOR conference "Russian Stock Market".

She noted that various measures are being taken for some Russian companies whose assets are frozen.

"But the collective exchange of frozen assets (with frozen assets in Russia) is a political issue and requires the consent of all parties. I don't think that's going to happen in the near future."

Nabiullina added that Russian companies managed to recover about 3 trillion rubles (about $37.5 bn) of frozen assets.
