May 5, Fineko/abc.az. The German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) has published preliminary data on factory orders for March.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press that factory orders in Germany fell by 10.7% because of the weakening of the global economy.

Economists had expected a decline of 2.2%.

In Germany in March, the total volume of domestic orders decreased by 6.8% per month, and foreign orders by 13.3%.

During this period, new orders from the eurozone decreased by 10.8% compared to February, and orders from other countries to Germany declined by 14.8%.
