May 4, Fineko/abc.az. The new president of the World Bank has been elected.

ABC.AZ reports that the former head of Mastercard, Ajay Banga, became the new president of the WB.

"The WB executive directors elected Ajay Banga as the WB president for a 5-year term beginning on June 2, 2023," the WB said in a statement.
