May 3, Fineko/abc.az. The number of payment cards in circulation in the banking system at the end of March increased by 226,000 cards against last month up to 13.88 million cards.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that compared with March 2022, this indicator grew by 17.9%.

The growth of payment cards was 16.6% on debit cards and 27% on credit cards. Compared with March 2022, the number of salary cards increased by 116,000 cards, credit cards by 407,000, and other cards by 1.5 million cards.
