May 2, Fineko/abc.az. New benefits are being established in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that this issue is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Law on Social Benefits, submitted for discussion at today's session of the parliament.

According to the amendments, monthly allowances are established for the upbringing of a child transferred to a foster family, including a child with an established disability under the age of 18, and lump-sum allowances for the purchase of seasonal clothing for children transferred to a foster family.

The allowance for the purchase of seasonal clothing for children transferred to a foster family is assigned for the period of validity of this agreement with payment 4 times a year (in March, June, September and December) after the conclusion of the agreement on the transfer of the child to a foster family between the foster parents and the body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority.

After discussion, the bill was put to the vote and adopted in the 1st reading.
