May 1, Fineko/abc.az. The details of the Automobile Production Project, which Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan want to implement in the Hajigabul industrial quarter (under jurisdiction of the Economic Zones Development Agency of under the Ministry of Economy), have been revealed.

ABC.AZ reports that the project will be implemented by Azermas CP, headed by Otabek Saliyev, a citizen of Uzbekistan.

The production line, in which AZN 88 million will be invested, should be put into operation in May 2025. 30,000 automobiles a year will be produced here based on the technologies of the USA, Italy, China, South Korea and Uzbekistan.

The plant with an area of 16 hectares and a production area of 31,000 sq m will employ 1,200 people.
