May 1, Fineko/abc.az. The IMF lowered Türkiye's growth forecast by 0.3 points to 2.7%.
ABC.AZ informs that according to IMF's European Regional Economic Outlook, Europe is simultaneously facing the difficult task of maintaining economic growth by reducing inflation, and despite the recent decline, inflation in the region still persists.
The IMF report says that the forecast of European economic growth for this year is 0.8% with an increase of 0.2 points, and for 2024 - 1.7% with an increase of 0.3 points.
The report emphasizes that the recession could have been prevented by lowering energy prices in this area, while inflation in Europe in the middle of last year slowed growth due to lower household incomes.
