April 27, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Turkey has kept the discount rate unchanged.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant decision was made at a meeting of the Financial Policy Committee, which is chaired by the head of the Central Bank of Turkey, Shahap Kavcioglu.

Thus, the interest rate has been re-approved at the level of 8.5%.

The last time the Central Bank of Turkey reduced the discount rate from 9% to 8.5% on February 23.
