April 27, Fineko/abc.az. Günay Bank continues to lose its assets in 2023. However, most of the bank's loan portfolio is not returned and has been inactive for a long time.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to bank's report that in the 1st quarter of 2023 Günay Bank’s assets decreased by another AZN 7 million from AZN 281 million in early 2023 to AZN 274 million.

This decrease was manifested in the bank's cash and loans to other banks.

Cash and loans to banks decreased by AZN 5 million each.

Instead, in the 1st quarter, bank's loans increased by AZN 2 million and exceeded AZN 200 million.

AZN 114 million of loans were directed for business, AZN 3.9 million for consumer loans, and about AZN 83 million to the real estate sector.

But this is a formal indicator of the loan portfolio. In reality, more than half of the loan portfolio (AZN 116 million - actually does not work) has not been returned for many years. As a result, currently the loan portfolio of Günaybank is only AZN 86 million.
