April 26, Fineko/abc.az. The deposit portfolio of the four largest corporate banks for the 1st quarter of 2023 was compared with the same quarter of 2022. Among the four banks, the bank's deposit portfolio decreased.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to bank statements that the deposit portfolio of the International Bank of Azerbaijan (ABB) decreased by AZN 100.55 million, or by 1.13%, to AZN 8.737 bn against Q1 of 2022. Nevertheless, the state bank still owned the largest deposit portfolio.

Xalq Bank with deposit portfolio of AZN 1.9 bn took the last place. This portfolio amounts to AZN 335.232 million, or 21.4% more than in the 1st quarter of 2022. Therefore, Xalq Bank is the bank with the smallest growth in the deposit portfolio.

PASHA Bank became the bank with the most increased deposit portfolio. The growth of the deposit portfolio of this bank is AZN 1.436 bn, or by 25.34% up to AZN 7.105 bn.
