April 26, Fineko/abc.az. Last year, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan received 68,534 written requests from consumers and investors through the hotline and whatsapp.

ABC.AZ was informed at the CBA that 68% of 11,812 written requests concerned the banking sector. As a result of studying the appeals, many issues have found their solution. In particular, in accordance with the Decree of February 28, 2019, 44 citizens were provided with compensation for part of the compensation amount of 43,275 manats to solve problem loans to individuals. In addition, insurance payments for totally more than 839,000 manats were made to the affected persons.

During the period, 55,037 calls received by hotline 966 were promptly answered, meetings were held with 1,242 citizens, 1,685 appeals received by the whatsapp service were considered. Along with taking the necessary measures to protect the rights of applicants, legal education was carried out.
