April 26, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan conducted all-round audit of 5 banks, 4 non-bank credit organizations, Azerpocht LLC, owned by the Ministry of Digital Development & Transport, 4 insurance companies, 1 insurance agency, 2 insurance and reinsurance brokers, and also conducted a thematic audit in 4 banks.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to CBA annual report that the inspections covered 21 participants of the financial market.

During the year, special attention was paid to the financial stability of the banking sector, credit risks in the sector and trends in the foreign exchange market were regularly monitored. As a result, thanks to control measures, the financial stability of banks was preserved, and public confidence in the sector increased.
