April 26, Fineko/abc.az. Binance.US has abandoned its agreement on purchase of assets of bankrupt cryptocurrency brokerage company Voyager Digital for $1 billion.

ABC.AZ reports that the company announced about this on its Twitter account.

Voyager, Voyager Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors and the U.S. government reached a $1 bn Asset Buy Deal on 19 April.

The deal was blocked on 28 March because of emergency suspension granted by a judge while the U.S. Department of Justice appealed Voyager's bankruptcy plan.

Voyager and Voyager's Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors tweeted their concerns about the development shortly before Binance.US has made its statement.

For its part, Binance.US said it decided to "exercise its right to terminate the asset buy deal".
