April 19, Fineko/abc.az. Hungary has expanded the list of products prohibited for import from Ukraine.
The list of products prohibited for import into Hungary from the territory of Ukraine, in addition to cereals and oilseeds, includes meat, poultry, eggs, vegetables, honey, bakery products, sugar and wine, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign press.
On 15 April, Poland and Hungary imposed a ban on the import of a number of plant and animal products from Ukraine until 30 June 2023. Hungarian Agriculture Minister Istvan Nagy stressed that Hungary expects the EU to take measures to support European farmers and revise the rules for duty-free import of agricultural products from Ukraine.
