April 19, Fineko/abc.az. As of April 1, 2023, the assets of the banking sector of Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 44.8 bn (16.5% more than on April 1, 2022), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank.

As of April 1, 2023, credit investments of Azerbaijani banks totaled AZN 20.038 bn (1.4% more than on March 1 and 2.3% more than at the beginning of the year and 14.3% more than last year).

The last time banks' credit investments exceeded AZN 20 bn on February 1, 2016 (AZN 20.6 bn).
