Cost of oil rises, and Brent is at $85.14 a barrel

April 18, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Tuesday’s trading after decline the day before.

The price of June Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $0.38 (0.45%) to $85.14 per barrel by 09:50 am. Following the trading on 17 April, Brent crude futures for June fell by $1.55 (1.80%) to $84.76 per barrel.

By 09:50 am, the price of WTI oil futures for May on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.36 (0.45%), to $81.19 per barrel. Following the trading on 17 April, the price of May WTI oil futures fell by $1.69 (2.05%) to $80.83 per barrel.
