April 17, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 March 2023, credit investments of state-owned banks in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 3.929 bn.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank hat as of 1 March 2022 private banks’ credit investments in Azerbaijan totaled AZN 3.46 bn (15.9% more versus Jan-Feb 2022).

Of the 25 banks in Azerbaijan, 23 ones are private. Thus, two out of 25 banks (International Bank of Azerbaijan and Azer-Türk Bank) are state-owned banks.
