April 17, Fineko/abc.az. The European Central Bank, which has been raising interest rates for some time to combat high inflation, is changing this decision, ABC.AZ reports, quoting François Villeroy de Galhau, governor of the Bank of France and a member of board of the ECB.

He pointed out that in order to combat inflation, interest rates were raised to the required level.

"We have come most of the way and should look at the delayed effects of interest rate hikes. The impact of past decisions is perhaps even more important than the impact of price increases at future meetings," he said.
