Azerbaijan's GDP has grown by 0.4 in 3 months

April 14, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan produced GDP of AZN 30.3 bn, or 0.4% more for Jan-Mar 2023 compared with the 2022 same period.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the value added in the oil & gas sector of the economy decreased by 3.9% and in the non-oil and gas sector grew by 4.9% this year.

47.5% of GDP production accounts for industry, 9% for trade; vehicle repair, 5.4% for transport and warehousing, 5% for construction, 2.6% for agriculture, forestry and fishing, 1.9% for tourist accommodation and catering, 1.5% for information and communications, 17.6% for other spheres. Net taxes on products and imports made up 9.5% of GDP.

The value of country’s GDP per capita remained unchanged - 2,991 manats.
