April 13, Fineko/abc.az. The North Caucasus Interregional Division of Rosselkhoznadzor controlled shipments of 122,277 tons of wheat grain for export from the Stavropol Region for the 1st quarter of 2023.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Rosselkhoznadzor, the largest volumes (95,792 tons) were sent to Azerbaijan.
Small shipments of wheat were sent to Türkiye (374 tons) and Iraq (300 tons). Compared with Q1 of 2022, export of Stavropol wheat grew by 53%, 57,466 tons were shipped in 2022.

Before shipment, samples were taken from the batches for entomological, geological and mycological studies. Only after confirming the phytosanitary safety of the products, phytosanitary certificates were issued for the batch.
