ABC.AZ reports that the chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago (Chicago Fed), Austan Goolsbee, stated that when making decisions on monetary policy, tensions in the banking sector have been taken into account recently.
He said that it is necessary to act with common sense and patience.
During his speech at the Chicago Economic Club, he said that when financial tensions arise at such moments, the most correct monetary approach is to assess the potential impact of financial stress on the real economy.
