April 3, Fineko/abc.az. The banks softened standards for business loans given in the 4th quarter of 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that although the easing mainly affected short-term and business loans in the national currency, there was also softening of the conditions for giving of long-term loans.

Expert economist Rashad Hasanli said that the growth of risks in the economic sphere after the pandemic also affected the credit policy of banks. But by the end of 2022, changes in this direction have gone in a positive direction. The lifting of a number of quarantine bans has led to the resumption of activities in certain sectors within Azerbaijan. This is also evident in the credit policy of banks.

The expert noted that compared with last year, the volume of business loans increased almost by 1 billion.
