March 13, Fineko/abc.az. Some insurance agents operating in Azerbaijan as individuals are currently preparing an appeal to the country's leadership to protest against the current situation in the sector.

ABC.AZ reports that about 250 insurance agents object to the gradual reduction of agents' fees in the insurance market, and in some types of insurance - their reduction in general.

According to them, although commission fees have been gradually decreasing so far, recently some companies have unofficially stopped commissions altogether, but no official decision on the termination of commissions has been announced.

The group, which includes a number of Azerbaijani agents operating in Baku and districts of the country, states that insurance companies want to oust agents from the insurance process and thereby assign agent’s commissions for themselves.
