March 10, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of 2022, the BMW carmaker received €18.58 bn in net profit, ABC.AZ informs with reference to concern’s final report.

The carmaker increased revenue by 28.2%, reaching a figure of €142.61 bn against €111.24 bn.

Net profit growth was 49.1% compared with the previous year, in 2021 BMW received €12.46 bn. Profit before taxes amounted to €23.51 bn, showing an increase of 46.4% against €16.06 bn in the last reporting period.

At the company's annual general meeting of shareholders on May 11, BMW management will propose to pay dividends at the rate of €8.5 per ordinary share and €8.52 for a preferred one. Last year, this figure was €5.8 and €5.82, respectively.
