March 3, Fineko/abc.az. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that negotiations with Azerbaijan about the normalization of relations are conducted in three directions, ABC.AZ reports with reference to Armenian government’s press service.
"The Armenian government is taking decisive steps to establish peace and stability in the South Caucasus region and is constructively involved in negotiations with Azerbaijan," Pashinyan said, addressing to the German Council on Foreign Relations in Berlin.
He added that Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiations are ongoing in three main directions: an agreement on the settlement of relations, unblocking transport communications and economic ties in the region, border delimitation and security.
Pashinyan added that Armenia has agreed to separate the Karabakh issue from the Armenian-Azerbaijani normalization process within the framework of the logic that a discussion mechanism will be formed between Baku and the Karabakh Armenians.
"We should focus on the positive opportunities for peace and cooperation," the Armenian PM noted.
