February 14, Fineko/abc.az. The volume of card transactions in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 56.4 bn in 2022 (56% higher than in 2021).
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that last year the volume of non-cash transactions with cards grew 2.1-fold up to AZN 24.4 bn.
The share of non-cash payments via cards within the country made up 43.2% in 2022. Most of the non-cash transactions with payment cards accounted for the share of e-commerce.
In particular, the number of e-commerce transactions grew 2.4-fold up to 261 million for AZN 18.515 bn in 2022 (a rise of 2.5-fold against 2021).
