State Budget revenues and expenditures made public

January 23, Fineko/abc.az. The Ministry of Finance has published data on revenues and expenditures of the State Budget of Azerbaijan in 2022.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the MoF that last year budget revenues exceeded the forecast by 5% and expenditures were executed by 0.7% less. And the budget deficit turned out to be 2-fold less than expected.

State Budget revenues for 2022 amounted to AZN 30.7 bn (5.0% or AZN 1.46 bn higher than the forecast of AZN 29.197 bn (AZN 4.26 bn, or 16.2% more than in 2021).

Through the tax authorities, finances in the amount of AZN 15.54 bn were transferred to the State Budget (AZN 3.8 bn or 32.4% more than predicted and AZN 7.01 bn or 82.2% more than in 2021).

And in the oil & gas sector, secured tax revenues amounted to AZN 7.458 bn (AZN 3.438 bn, or 85.5% more than predicted and AZN 5.27 bn or 3.4-fold more than in 2021).
