January 17, Fineko/abc.az. Thereby, “Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan” has undertaken an important and responsible corporate commitment to contribute to the global economy and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals based on the universal principles of the UN Global Compact.
The UN Global Compact comprises 10 principles in the fields of human rights, labor, environment, and combating corruption, generally accepted for the private sector, as well as those supporting the Sustainable Development Goals in the internal activity of an entity and allowing it to benefit from them.
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact is the world's most comprehensive corporate sustainability initiative, currently involving more than 15,000 companies and 3,000 non-profit organizations from 160 countries, as well as more than 70 Global Compact Local Networks.
