CBA: Index of economic activity in non-profit sector increased

January 12, Fineko/abc.az. In 2022, the dominance of the non-profit sector in payment receipts continued, ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Payment receipts in the commercial sector amounted to AZN 5.3 bn (20% of total receipts) and in the non-commercial sector – AZN 21 bn (80%).

The share of areas of activity in which there is an increase in revenues for the general non-profit sector was 56%, and the share of areas of activity in which there is decrease was 44%.

As a whole, compared with 3rd quarter of 2022, in the 4th quarter there was an increase in the index of economic activity in both the commercial and non-commercial sectors.
