December 26, Fineko/abc.az. The number of payment cards in circulation in the banking system at the end of November increased by 152,000 compared with last month and amounted to 13.132 million cards.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Central Bank that compared with the same term of 2021, this indicator grew by 20.9%.
The growth of payment cards was 20.1% on debit cards and 26.6% on credit cards. The quantity of salary cards grew by 186,000, credit cards by 364,000, and other cards by 1.7 million against Jan-Nov 2021. The growth of payment cards has had positive impact on the volume of non-cash payments.
