December 22, Fineko/abc.az. At the last meeting of the year, held on 22 December, the Central Bank of Turkiye (TCMB) kept the interest rate at 9% in line with market expectations.

ABC.AZ reports that the bank's statement says that "given the growing risks to global demand, the current policy rate is considered to be quite high".

Shortly before that, the agencies surveyed also expected that the interest rate would not be changed.
